Aberdyfi MRT Team Photograph 2023
The request received was to provide a team group image. I was free to pick the location, so I decided to set the backdrop of Craig yr Aderyn, also known as Bird's Rock, rising to a height of 258 metres (846 ft) above sea level on the south bank of the River Dysynni near Llanfihangel-y-Pennant in the county of Gwynedd, north-west Wales. It's big enough to look impressive and would fit into the photograph that I was planning.
The image is a composite of a number of images; the mountains and back row are part of the original image. However, I had to add the six team members who couldn't make it on the night from individual images taken in various locations and lighting conditions over two weeks (can you guess who they are?). The images were then brought together to make this final image.
