There is something about a Victorian promenade shelter. They’ve stood for over the years as a shared refuge from the elements—a place where paths cross for just a few minutes before the rain clears or the tide turns. I captured this quiet moment on the Aberystwyth seafront during a stormy afternoon on the Ceredigion coast. When visiting Mid Wales for the weekend, these shelters always seem to hold a certain weight and history.
