Republic P-47D Thunderbolt Nellie G-THUN, built in 1945, served with the Air Training Command during WWII before storage at Tinker AFB. Sold to the Peruvian Air Force in 1953, it served until 1967 as a fighter and trainer. Recovered by Ed Jurist in 1969, Nellie G-THUN came to the UK in 2018 and is operated by Fighter Aviation Engineering LTD in a 492nd Fighter Squadron scheme.
