Exploring Dinorwic Slate Quarry in Autumn is always a pleasure, especially as the trees turn golden set against the dark imposing slate surroundings. This is a view across the lower part of the quarry looking East up the Llanberis valley towards Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) with one of the many Winch Houses standing out against the skyline.
